The Sherman County School District board is forming an 11-member Facilities Planning Committee to develop a plan for consolidating that district into one K-12 campus in Moro.  Superintendent Wes Owens says the panel will consist of four parents or community members, three staff members, two board members, and administrators.  Owens notes there is three questions that stand out among the many the committee will address:  how will consolidated be funded, what will the new configuration look like, and what to do with their current elementary school in Grass Valley.  Owens added the panel would also take a large amount of community input.  The goal is to have a plan ready by July 8.
