Maryhill Museum of Art saw attendance go up by nearly 30 percent during the just concluded 2012 season.  45,000 visited the museum.  Visitation was buoyed by the opening of the new Mary and Bruce Stevenson Wing in May, the first expansion in the museum's history.  Maryhill Executive Director Colleen Schafroth says the new wing has exceeded expectations, adding that it should soon receive a Gold-level certification from the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program.
