The Hood River County School District will hold parent and community meetings at four locations on Wednesday evening to gather public input as the district board embarks on its search for a new superintendent.  Meetings are planned for Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at both Cascade Locks School and Mid-Valley Elementary, at 7 p.m. at Wy'east Middle School, and at 7:15 p.m. at May Street Elementary.  Spanish translation services will be provided at the Mid-Valley session.  A parent and community survey on the superintendent search is available through November 29 at the Hood River County School District website.  Current superintendent Charles Beck announced this summer he would be resigning from the post effective at the end of June.
