D21 Achievement Compact Committee Gets Ready To Work
Should begin in two weeks.
A North Wasco County School District 21 committee is preparing to work on developing its achievement compact with the state for 2013-14. Superintendent Candy Armstrong says they have been receiving more guidelines from the state on changes to make from their current achievement compact. Armstrong says they are working under a tight timeline getting the compact to the D-21 board in late January, noting part of the goal is to influence the district's budgeting process. Armstrong says the committee working on the compact will begin meeting in about two weeks.
