Both the Hood River County Health Department and the North Central Public Health District are partnering in an effort to get more adults up to date on their vaccinations.  Trish Elliott of the Hood River County Health Department says part of the effort, funded through a state grant, is to reach out to large employers, other health care providers, and long-term care facilities.  Elliott notes the state has an immunization registry that has done a good job of capturing childhood and adolescent vaccine records...but it is lacking on adult information.
